Hi Manuel, interesting question here. I haven't driven myself, but travelled a lot for my old job and used to talk with drivers frequently. I met quite a few folks who would try to organize their driving around airport travel - getting an early start Monday morning to try to find a business traveler headed into the airport, and looking at arrival times for large international flights to plan to be around the airports at those times. That will depend a lot on your city though.

Some drivers were ok with working in downtown areas and dealing with traffic, while others avoided it whenever they could. Same goes for giving rides at night/on weekends - some people just didn't want to deal with it, even if they could be good prices to get.

I was reading a bit about this and found an article about a driver in NYC who seems to work ~9 hrs/day. But I imagine the best hours to work might be different if you're in a different city.
