Drama at #JEA

A Mechanic, who shall go unnamed- was furious that I had worked nearly 120 hours in two weeks, and was in my face, screaming that the overtime was not being distributed evenly. I calmly asked him to accompany me to the managers office, where we could sort this out reasonably, in a muture fashion. After it was revealed to him that the majority of the work was electrical or PLC related, and didn't involve his craft, and that he WAS CALLED- BUT REFUSED THE CALLOUT- to watch football or spend time with his family, etc, He quietly left the room. Amazing how those who shriek about not getting any overtime, are always the ones who DECLINE the overtime when it is offered to them. Seriously.

SCE union workers did the exact same thing…. I jumped on OT for years, I never declined a call out. Then the union blamed ME for taking all the OT, even though I was sanctioned from being called for a year.
