This world is crazy!
When I was 18 I got in to some trouble let's say I was hanging around the wrong people and I paid the Altimate price now I'm a convicted felon, not a violent crime it was a drug charge it was my 1st and only run in with the law. Now at 35 I've always been able to find and keep a job I've proven to be a law abiding citizen and my background proves it I have great credit and all but that one thing hangs over my shoulder and in the 16 years since the arrest jobs treat me like a criminal and look over all the great things I've done to prove that I'm one of the few that actually changed and went through every step I was supposed to. I will be expunging my record because no Matter what I do I'm a criminal and nothing can change that it's sad but this world doesn't believe in rehabilitation. I can see if I were an habitual offender, or had a violent crime like robbery, murder, assault but it might as well be that because I'm treated like it is. I always keep my head up and I will always land on my feet.
