Should I take a job in an unsafe neighborhood?

I interviewed for a McDonald' crew member position near my house but I was offered a job at another McDonald’s location that is unsafe.

Safety first under all circumstances but you never know where trouble is going to show it's ugly face! https://www.boston.com/news/crime/2016/04/11/police-investigate-subway-robbery

I wouldn't risk it if you think it's unsafe..

Do not take the job if you feel that the location is unsafe. Explain to the employer that you applied for the position open in your neighborhood. The employer should have disclosed the actual job location either in the job posting or during the interview.

That's tough, I honestly think that's a decision only you can make. If it were me and I really felt it was unsafe I would just tell them the location was too far for me and I prefer the one in my area and am willing to wait until a position opens up there.
