Where are you located? There are a ton of pharmacy tech jobs in Atlanta. Oh and sign up with zip recruiter. I have jobs calling me every week for offers.
Try the military. They can help you pay off your student loans. You can also get constructive credit which could bring you in at a higher rank. Go talk to an AMEDD Recruiter.

Maybe that was all they had a need for at the time. Or it could be that other applicamts would work for less money. It's a competitive world out there. Don't take it personal.
