Promotions and Marketing Background

I live in Denver. I received a Communications degree many moons ago with minors in Marketing/Management and Speech. Since graduating I have worked in many different industries, some of which were a major ethnic Hair Care Company (that was bought out by a Major International Company), An Alternative Transportation program (Of which I was laid off and my department eliminated) and a Telecommunications that got in trouble with the FBI. I'm ready to start over again in a completely different industry were being over 45 is not a hindrance. Bye the way, I am a big picture person that would like to work in a field where I can use some creativity. Does anyone have any ideas for me to research. I'm even willing to get certified in something if it doesn't take too long and it's lucrative.
