What about us felons?

I've recently applied for a couple of jobs that I am completely qualified for and I know it's the disclosure of my felony that us keeping me from getting hired. Does anybody have any ideas? I'm in Oxnard, CA (Ventura County). Thank you and good luck with your searches!

Did you know the State of California passed the "Ban the Box" laws back in July 2017 that restricts employers to ask or investigate criminal background checks on applicants. Get yourself familiar with the new law and know your right next time you fill out an application.
