Hello, I am a RDA with 5 yrs. experience. Looking for a new position that includes benefits. Dental assistant adept at all patient care and front office procedures. Hold current HIV, OSHA, CPR, BLS, Nitrous Oxide monitoring certifications. Accurately complete all periodontal charting for the Hygienist. Instructing patients on proper dental hygiene techniques to maintain optimal oral health. Well-versed in four-handed chair side dentistry, routine restorations and intra-oral techniques. Review appropriate postoperative instructions with patients after all procedures. Since many individuals have a form of dental anxiety, I believe making the patient feel comfortable with excellent chair side customer service skills is very important. I am proficient with Taking, processing, and mounting x-rays, assisting in a variety of general procedures. Packing cord and fabricating temporary crown and bridges. Keeping inventory and ordering necessary supplies. Taking alginate impressions and pouring up models. Creating bleach trays. Scheduling and assisting with patient appointment when lab cases arrive. Keeping record of base-line vital signs and medical history. Moister control with Dental Dam set-ups. Excellent knowledge of instrumentation.
