I've been out of work for more than a month....
I've also had my resume up on multiple sites trying desperately to get ANY job at this point. I don't know what to do. I'm worried it's the inconsistencies in my job history. Last month I managed to get out of an extremely abusive relationship, but it cost me a lot. The last job I had, though was kind of different. I just physically couldn't do it, because of carpal tunnel, and the temp agency I was working through has completely ghosted me. I'm getting desperate... I managed my way out, but I'm seriously facing homelessness, now, because I can't find anyone willing to give a victim of domestic abuse, an actual chance. What do I do?

apply at temp agencies. Also call your info line to get referral information for domestic abuse. In CT our info line is 211 and they can help with any issues. You should ask to relocate.

Could you try a different temp agency? I live in Boston and there any many different temp agencies. And they might put you into a temporary position that turns into a full time position.

My resume has been change with different bullet points but I've been a CNA for 21 yrs. I have diploma and associates degree in healthcare management but I graduated in 2014 still don't have a job in my degree. I kind of gave up. Can you help?

Ratracerebellion.com is a great place to look for work at home. Maybe you need to change your resume. I don't mind helping u

Amber, don't up or give into delayed job opportunities. You will find your ideal job and you will be able to bounce back from all adversities. Be sure to stay prayerful and trust that God will bless you and I pray the laborers equipped in the knowledge of God's word will cross your path and surround you and assist you in fighting this battle for you shall win the war. Put your trust in God !!

Amber, if the last temp agency ghosted you try Aerotek Commercial Staffing. They will work with you, not against you. They can also find you a temp to hire position, which will find you full time alot faster. I've worked with them for 7 years, and they got me into the Frederick News Post. I got my dream job through them, because of all my printing experience. I'll say a prayer for you, and hope for the best. Good luck, and God bless you.

Do not give up. Demonstrate your willingness to learn and work hard. Have a good story behind each work experience. Do not short sell yourselves, but to highlight your capability and capacity. I am always looking for jobs. I have been applied for over hundred of jobs for 6 months, too. However, I believe my skill sets will be beneficial to organization who need to change and improve.

I have always thought it best to open my own doors, climb my own stair. I'm a grown up that understand that if anything good is going to happen, I have to make it happen. I've never been on welfare, or a cepted a hand out from anyone. I never sat around feeling sorry for myself waiting on someone else to do it for me. I never let myself be a victim. I have always understand that each of us make our own beds, and we have to lay in the beds we make. Guess I just get frustrated with all the poor me's half my age that for one reason won't fend for themselves

Just pray on it and don't EVER give up! I'm a felon and I was having trouble finding a job because of my background. I prayed and I prayed and now I work at save a lot. I promise it will work if you just keep trying and talk to your higher power.
