I've been a caregiver for 22 years. You don't need a lot of experience. But you need to be compassionate Without that you have no business as a caregiver. I've held the hands of 10 wonderful people as they have passed away. I would never change that.

Alot of companies will train you on the job. But there's things you can do to give yourself the best shot at landing the job. Such as CPR training, Haz Mat training which is really important if your handling linen, bedding ect.

You would need to take a LNA class and become certified

No need to go to school . Caregivers get trained at work.

If you want to be a CNA then you have to take a test. Check it eine if you're local nursing homes they may have classes for you to take. Mine was a 2 week class back then. A residential assistant didn't require any training but they do not get paid as much.

In florida there are no requirements just some basic paperwork filing for things like 'Authorized representative {sign for things} SSI or SSDI, insurance and benefit claims then specialists are brought in like physical therapy, IV infusions etc. Most are covered or work for licensed home care companies {Adult daycare}

As per above answer. All the assisted living and at home care agencies are always in need of caregivers. And you do not need experience. They will train you. That is how I got started 18 years ago.

Depending do you have someone that needs you to be their care giver? If so have them request you the DSHS will do your training. Go apply to one of the caregiver companies. They will but you through training.
There is no required education or training. I train my own workers and am looking for Caregivers now.
