Unemployment

Ive been with connect for many’s years never had this problem with unemployment at all on March 25 was my last day of work do to covid 19 on the 29 I reapply and haven’t heard anything yet about my claim on May 29 I was told I had a leave of absent on the claim and the person I spoke to said we need to do a form of loa ok and things should be fine and he said keep claiming your weeks and soon you’ll here from them I’ve been trying to call the 1800 And the 833 and they say hit #5 it connect me to the same people that can’t help me I’ve been claiming since March and all my weeks have been disqualified up til June so far not a dime in my pocket and bills keep coming have s family and I’m lost to this situation please someone help me . Oh just in case I filled out a paper application and I also did the deo app to I did it all and still nothing

Same happened to me / leave messages to all number and nobody return any calls,they might don't have enough personnel of they tired or working 24/7 (Houston,texas)

You’re better off going thru the governors office first cause when they call DEO IG you’ll have some clout behind you...

It will work out you’ll have to fight for everything but you’ll get it

This is the Inspector General in the Executive Office of Governor Desantis, and while they won’t be able to directly help you... they’ll put you in touch with someone at DEO who can fix your claim... the 800 is a waste, well meaning people but aren’t trained to do anything more then reset a pin... trust me on this one when DEO gets a call from the Governor’s inspector general they move things right along...

I am in a similar situation. 13 weeks and nothing. Keeps saying disqualified week!! They tell me everything is ok and that they are backed up. Over 80jobs I’ve applied for. When will relief come???
