Interview attire
Hi,
After weeks of calling, I got an interview at my local staples. It's in 2 hours but I just realized I don't know how to dress for this. Should I treat this like I would a white collar job and dress up or be casual?
My concern is that the interviewer noted I worked as a pharmaceutical sales rep and for some reason thought it was a fancy job and questioned why I wanted to work at staples. I don't want him to think I'm used to better opportunities and will quit after 2 months or something! That's so far from the truth.
Thanks!

Yes... Dress professionally

Why do I need to go into the place of my interview to find out how to dress. Ladies you are no different from the men for interview attire. Skirt or pants in navy blue, black, or dark grey.(well fitted and proper length)You'll need two white blouses conservative style with long or short sleeves. Your shoes are black, brown, or grey.(Not spike 7-8" heals that you wear in the club) MODERATE to NO make up. And men please do wear a tie and not blue jeans as your interview clothing.

Go to the store beforehand and see what they wear.

My opinion in this regard is: it never hurts to put on a coat and tie, you might be overdressed but they will notice the effort. Dress for success is the old motto.

I would wear nice pants n a button shirt. No tie or jacket. It's a job at staples. Good luck

I always wear black slacks and nice blue shirt untucked because it's square on the bottom. I wear nice black shoes.

Congrats. And business attire.

How did the interview go?

I pray that you will get the job. Good luck.
Congrats on the new job Devon!
