Why is it that the people who are trying to do right always end up being treated wrong?

Just trying to figure this one out. I mean good people always take the bunt of the situation, when the negative person seems to always prevail. Or have you ever noticed that the wrongs things tend to be right and the right tend to be wrong...

Not sure I agree with you my friend. Doesn't always play out that way. But totally get sometimes it does. I think its a matter of timing and perspective. Its hard to be principled or stand up for principles. We usually take note of it, exactly when its hard to do. Someone giving up their seat for elderly folk, women or children every day on a bus is doing the right thing but not really noticed that much cuz it kinda blends. Rosa Parks sure got noticed on her bus because at the time it sure didn't blend. And, she got treated wrong short term. But look at her now - she is such a national hero that she was even talked about being put on the $20 bill during the last republican debate. So I think sometimes we just notice people doing the right thing more when it is hard. And I think that people get treated wrong doing the right thing when its hard in the short term -but when you keep doing the right thing repeatedly - eventually it pays off in the long run.

Did that make sense? Been a long day and I though that was an interesting question your wrote and wanted to reply to it. Hope whats in my head came out in this post the right way. Either way - thanks for the thought provoking post and thanks for being part of Jobcase! Fred
