Cant figure out how to bulletpoint my last job
My last job was kind of odd. The position, as far as I can tell, doesn't exist anywhere but my this company.
We created e-learning modules for law enforcement agencies nationwide. In most companies, the process for creating an interactive course is something like this-
- Receive course outline, delegate to SEE.
- SME fleshed out the course but utilizing his own knowledge, plus secondary resources. This information is than given to an instructional designer.
- ID storyboards, than outlines, creates interactive elements, adds multimedia, etc.
- SME writes an exam, FAQ, additional reading, etc.
So, I was half SME, half ID. I saved the company untold sums of money with my research skills. The main part of my job was to become nearly an SME in some very obscure areas of law enforcement (civil asset forfeiture anyone?), generate the frame of the course in PowerPoint, locate multimedia elements and supplemental material, and write an exam, faq, etc. I have tried and tried and tried to get this information into resume ready, bullet point format, and I have stalled immediately every time. Anybody have sang suggestions?

This information is than given to an instructional designer • Generation of the frame of the course in PowerPoint, locate multimedia elements and supplemental material, and write an exam, faq, etc. • Creation of ID storyboards, outlines, interactive elements and the addition of add multimedia, etc. • SME that writes an exam, FAQ, additional reading, etc. • Helped to save the company untold sums of money with my research skills. • Worked towards becoming a SME in some very obscure areas of law enforcement (civil asset forfeiture)
Hi! You could say the percentage of money you saved or amount you saved the company over X amount of months or years. I hope this helps.
