FedEx interview today but I’m not sure what to expect…
I just finished an FedEx interview this morning for a part time warehouse position. I felt like I hit it off pretty good with the manager in the beginning of the job interview so I felt confident. He told me the interview consist of some general questions and 5 assessment questions that he would later score to help determine if I get the job. It’s a 5 question math assessment that I use a formula provided to calculate results and respond. I took it and missed 1 out of the 5 questions. The manager told me that just started interviewing applicants and they would be evaluating a pool of about 20 candidates to fill 10 open positions and he would be contacting be within a couple of weeks to let me know if I got the job. Does anyone here have any experience with this type of interview process. Do you think missing 1 out of 5 is a no go for me?

if its a package handler position be prepared to hear about the demanding physical nature of the job and the unusual overnight hours. it might sound like recruiters are trying to discourage you from the job but they do this to make sure applicants know what their getting into.

I just have an interview this morning with a temp agency to get a temp job but im not ecpecting a lot from it if i pass good for me if not better luck next time. They sent me a set of test dont know yet if i passed. I wish you luck. Its a lot harder to get a decent job for somebody like me cuz i dont speak english fluently like somebody who is born and raised here. Hey i know how it feels like somebody who is alienated.

Hello my name is Cheryl Robinson what time the interview

Hi Ed, I worked for Amazon for 5 yrs & lost my job a year ago(Amazon does this a lot) I interview at WalMart's Distribution Warehouse & found (I was nervous of course) but the Interviewing manager asked me ?'s similar to what you wrote & I too feel I answered 1 not to correct according to how I think he would of liked me to answer it & he told me the same thing. They just started interviewing & they'd get back to me. I think that 1 ? is why I didn't get the position. I hope for your sake that FedEx is different bcuz I don't think missing or answering 1 ? should bump you or anyone out of a otherwise good interview. Idk you but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I applied for a UPS position that was sent to me thru indeed.com for a position in Bethlehem PA & got a reply email that they were not taking applications for Bethlehem at this time. And sadly I applied on line thru indeed. Good luck to you.

I think you have a good chance. Just make sure you stay in touch and follow-up on your application. With so many positions to fill and candidates to interview you want to make sure your info doesn't fall to the back of the pile. Good Luck..
I think you did well enough on the assessment to qualify for the next round. If their filling 20 positions it might be a lengthy hiring process. Prepare for at least 30 days before you start.
