Hi Alan! To answer your question I would first ask yourself how important the job is to you. Is it something you really enjoy doing, or are there other options you would rather pursue? If it really is the best fit for you, you might want to consider that the older employees probably started with entry level positions, too. A lot of them may have worked their way into those positions with more flexible hours, and eventually, you may do the same! If the timing won't be a big issue for you, go for it! Sometimes it's great to just get out there and see what about a job you like or don't like (especially in high school where you're starting to think about future career paths).
