RE: CARETAKER or MEDICAL/BUSINESS OFFICE
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am seeking part-time employment in either of the above-referenced positions. My goal is trying to find employment in the Big Timber area or Sweet Grass County so there will be no need for driving out of town.
I have received a Certificate in Secretarial Science, Certified Nursing Assistant, and 6 months online with major being Administrative Health Care through Axia College with the University of Phoenix.
I have years of experience in customer service, medical/legal transcription, electronic filing of medical insurance claims, and also acting as the manager's office assistant. If she was busy, out of the office, etc I took care of everything including dealing with patients who were upset about a bill received and also helped the nurse with patients. I have taken vital signs and have also done PFTs on patients in the office as well as assist the doctor with the patient. Before going into the medical field, I worked for 2 years as a legal secretary which started 2 weeks after graduating college. I was responsible for customer service, answering phone calls, scheduling court dates, transcription of legal documents and letters to clients. I was also responsible in all of the positions I had to make sure we had needed supplies, and if not to call and order the products that we were in need of or any we would be using in the near future.
