Road rage on the road
I just started to drive for FedEx and road rage is a real thing. Sometimes people get really angry if you have to go into the high-speed lane to make a left. People also think that truck drivers have a better view of the road because they are higher off the ground and have larger mirrors, but NOT true. We actually have bigger blind spots! If you stay in truck’s blind spot it means we cannot see you or your car. Just something to keep in mind. Drive safe everyone!
Thanks Sean that was very helpful. You would think people would be cautious anyway but unfortunately you can get a license without taking a test of any kind!
Road rage is a major problem, usually I slow down so they can get away from me. I especially feel sad for the child sleeping in the car seat when I observe someone with road rage. Another problem is merging traffic. I can not always move over for someone. If I slow down for them they also slow down. It is not always easy but the freedom of traveling all over the country is totaly awesome. Be safe and good luck.
What helps me is not making eye contact with potentially aggressive/angry drivers. They're trying to get your attention so they can flip you off or whatever...

It sucks, but road rage happens ALL the time. It's scary so I can only imagine as a drive how you feel. People get so mad sometimes at the stupidest things.
