When you know you're going to get the dreaded "go with other candidates" notice
I applied for a position back in April. In mid-May, I was contacted to do an online (video) interview and questionnaire. I completed both and about a week later received an "invite" to a recruitment event. The company said to be prepared to be there for about 3 hours and included items to do before the event. I went through everything, Please be sure to complete the following items before the event:

On the day of the event, I arrived before the scheduled time (good thing since I had to find the building and how to get in since I didn't have a key card). Once we were taken upstairs to get placed with a call center representative to listen to calls, they couldn't figure out who I was and the same thing when they called me to interview. I had to keep telling them my name so they could have my paperwork, but I think the topper to the whole incident was: By the time I left the interview I already knew I was not going to be selected for the position based on: The interviewer never asked if I preferred to work at home or in the office, which we were told downstairs they would confirm the information we had submitted previously. The interviewer never asked if I had a problem with the schedule that was outlined in the Power Point presentation, which we were told downstairs they would confirm. The interview never included: Assignment that was outlined in the preparation before the event.
It did in fact take 3+ hours of the day to get to that point. I did get the dreaded "other candidates" notice and I did send an email to the talent acquisition team to let them know how I was treated at the event so they could make improvements for future candidates.

Sounds like a long, agonizing, impersonal experience. Technological advances have done very to improve the hiring process. You had at least 3 previous interactions with that companies recruiting reps but when you get to an invent they invited you to no one knows your name. Not a good culture.
I think the first thing I go is pray and if it's right I will be blessed
