48 years old and stuck!!
Wow,Brandy White,sounds like my life!!I have Ben out of work for a bit and the last job I had closed there doors,so no job reference,and the previous year I was getting my MA,so there was a year out of work,the history just is not there to document... Bummer!!And in the new state that I live they require me to be licensed with my MA,i can't afford that with paying off a student loan still!!

I wish you all the success in your future endeavors in seeking employment that matches your qualifications and experience. People in the know about employment in this era tell me the following: You be savy on social media particularly in your case LinkedIn. You must use contacts and groups on LinkedIn. You must create your own unique brand. Strategic volunteering is legitimate employment history. A fellow worker and/or supervisor can give you reference and recommendation on LinkedIn. The Federal Government have a student debt forgiveness program. Just some ideas for you. Good luck Mellisa
