Very nervous to start working at Subway
I’m usually not a very anxious person but very nervous for starting at Subway. I start next monday and it will be my first job. I want to know if I can get any tips for the first few shifts so I can be ahead of it. What do you wish you knew when you started there?

Congrats on your first job. Show up time. Take notes, be attentive, and pay attention. Work is not about making friends, its about doing your job. The customer is always right, so listen don't over promise or under deliver.

Listen. If you really listen to what the customer is saying, then you will exceed expectations

Pay attention, ask questions, take notes and go over information at night .Then act natual.

pay close attention to your trainer and ask questions. shadow someone that knows what they are doing. Listen well to the customers requests and smile everyone was new at one point. Congratulations and I wish you all the best!

Do everything he tells you to do make a good impression he will keep you around work hard then when he's not around practice wether it the cashier or the sandwich maker practice make perfection

Girl I have been at one for 5 years! Don't be nervous, it's super easy and fun most times. If I can give you some advice? Get too know everything and get fast! People love fast service and as a closer working by myself fast makes things easier and better tips too! Good luck

Madison Scobie the best advice I can give anyone who is beginning a new career/job is,,,be flexible!!! Role up your sleeves and do not be afraid to get the job done. Take the opportunity to be a learner and soak up as much information as you can. I like to review it all again at the end of the day but that is because I am OCD. lol Congrats and look forward to hearing about your success!!

That's normal! Just be yourself and listen to your boss.

Just relax. Ask questions if you don't understand.
Subway is a fun, rewarding environment to work in. It may seem overwhelming at first , like every job, but it does get easier. Just pay close attention to your trainer and ask questions if needed. You will do great! Wishing you the best of luck!
