Go to the mall with your resume in hand (Several copies) and if you are truly determined, walk from store to store asking if they are hiring and providing your resume. That shows dedication and to any manager I think that is important.

I would still suggest calling them to check in on it. Sometimes this can help the process move a little faster.

Hi Alejandra, Handing in the application is only one step of the process. Make sure YOU are calling the stores to follow up on the application. Give them a call 1-2 days later, ask for the hiring manager, and then ask him/her if they received your application and if they might need anything else from you. Then if you haven't heard anything, call again 1 week later to check on the status of your application. Hope this helps!
