What should I do?

I was offered a job and I accepted the job signed all the paperwork and started that same day, which was a Thursday. I worked Friday as well. On Sunday at 6:00pm my boss emailed me and said I didn't need to come in on Monday. I emailed her back and asked why as it is a full time job she said that she didn't feel comfortable putting me on the shipping line because I made a few mistakes the first two days I worked there. She said she would have to prep another task for me to do. I have never worked in shipping before and I only worked TWO DAYS! I asked her to call me and she said she was to busy and worked late. That is the last I heard from her. I wasn't fired so fast forward a week and I still haven't heard anything! Do I have any rights? I have never heard of this happening to anyone and I am very upset! I need to be working all my bills are late and I am trying to support my young child. Does anyone know what legal rights I have? I am so fed up and confused how a company can do this and get away with it. This past week I have been frantically looking for another job but I'm not ever fired or didn't quit my other job. Any advice?

The email is your letter of termination then. I would contact the main "boss" higher than the person sending the email and ask if there is anything you can do. Usually a business has a grace period, I am not familiar with your circumstances so I can only offer what I do know. Also depends on what state your in and so on...Hopefully you find some of this useful.

Since you only worked there two days, probably on a probation period and was hired through a temp services...unfortunately no you do not have any rights as far as being fired. Did the email contain the company logo? If so that can be used as your notice of being fired! Legally speaking they covered all bases if they informed you in any type of document, including email communication.
