Just customize your resume to match each experience/position you apply to. it should provide hiring managers with more background information about who you are and why you are a right fit for the position and the company. It should also include a call to action like, "I look forward to connecting to discuss next steps," so the employer knows just how interested you are in moving forward with multiple positions.

Bad choices in this case? Absolutely not you should see my resume no two jobs are alike! If anything that should work in your favor if you present it correctly at your interviews. I do i remind them with that i am a universal worker, i embrace new things willing to take on any task, the list goes on forever. Most employers actually like to see that it shows hoe much experience you really have and how trainable you are. Never regret good choices you make approach every job acquiring situation with integrity, pride, and confidence@ This is your time to shine to show them what your truly capable of! Remember always strive for leader! You go good job!

HI Eric, If you are referring to working in multiple fields as being a bad choice, I would say no. You have attained a multitude of experiences and people who usually experience this type of work history make really good entrepreneurs. Have you considered starting your own business? What type of experiences do you have? My resume' is pretty much the same, multiple experiences, primarily accounting and baking, but also have other experiences such as machine operation in manufacturing environment, Industrial truck experience, warehouse, etc. And to tell you the truth, I don't regret one thing on my resume'. A good suggestion would be to tweak your resume' to specific jobs, or to make sure you have all the details of your job descriptions for each position that you have held. A good manager has the ability to do every job under his or her charge. I call it being diverse. The manager may not be able to do it as good or as quickly as the normal person doing the job, that is because they don't do it each and everyday. Good example, I managed a bakery, when the normal baker took vacation, I would cover for him, the product came out the same and at times better than the normal baker, but the production took me more time to complete than the normal baker, because I didn't do it every night, two weeks of the year was it.

Anyway, a suggestion, I don't know how you did your resume, but Jobcase will generate a resume for you from your profile, just make sure you have all of your information entered correctly in your profile. While completing your profile think about what you did at each job and make sure the facts of each position are correct and complete. Once complete, click on generate resume, to the right of your profile. At times I know I overlook things, like my last position was in a warehouse environment, which would give me recent warehouse experience, along with industrial truck certification and experience which wasn't on my resume until I thought about it when proofreading my resume'. Another good point always proofread your resume' for spelling and grammar as well as content and if possible, have another proofread with you for suggestions. That piece of paper is representing you to an employer and what is actually on it has a big impact as to whether you even get an interview. Take your time and get it right, give the employer an accurate assessment of your skills, which will give you a better shot at interview and being hired. Best wishes and good luck.

Being multi-talented is a good thing. I am that way. What I do is apply for several positions within one company at a time. It not that they do want to hire you, because they actually need you. The problem is that they don't want to pay for your multi talents. So the best way to sum it up is add up your worth and give them an average figure. Once you in you can show them how much of an asset you are.

AS LONG AS YOU HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING TO TARNISH YOUR NAME, BELIEVE ME YOU ARE GOOD! AND AS FAR AS HAVING EXPERIENCE IN MULTIPLE FIELDS THAT'S A GOOD THING. JUST APPLY FOR THE POSITION IN WHICH YOU LOVE AND YOU KNOW WILL EXCEL. GOOD LUCK!

You can't be that guy before you even have a job. Pick the two best assets that jive with the job your applying for. Once your in then gradually show what else you can bring to the team.
