Dispatcher is making it IMPOSSIBLE for me!!
So my new dispatcher is a real pain in my ass. Last week I get my load assignment but the delivery time was nearly impossible to make. I would literally need perfect weather and road conditions to be able to make the deadline not to mention drive non-stop without at least one fuel stop and a bathroom break. It just wasn't possible and I ended up looking like the jerk who couldn’t handle things. This isn’t the first time this has happened. What do I tell this dispatcher? I am sick of this!!!
Get a different job bro, there are plenty of them out there as long as you have a good record. Safe travels my friend!!!
Flat out tell your dispatcher you cant make it. Its that easy, Im retired now but but I really miss arguing with those M::::::: f;;;;ers.
Drive legally take your break and if the load gets in on time then it is no big deal but if it doesn't you have that e-log that you can not change or manipulate to back you up

If it is impossible. Tell the dispatcher to come get the truck. Your CDL is your job. Be Safe and you 1st
Find another job. Dispatchers like this are what causes accidents, and the loser will be YOU!
The dispatcher can make your job suck. I'd ask them directly if forcing you to find a new job is the agenda.

Your company needs to put them an a truck with the drivers so he or she knows what you guys go through.
when they give you a load you can't make..... and you have a dick for a dispatcher... tell them up front and call someone above his head... and tell them you can't make it before you leave..... that way when he tries to blame you, he can't. This country is full of college boy dispatchers that think they know everything. usually in their 20's and never saw a truck up close.
