Rewarding career at Brookdale Senior Living?
I love working with older people, so I’m considering a career at a retirement home. Does anyone know if Brookdale Senior Living is a good employer to work for?
I worked at Brookdale very briefly. I cannot recommend it to anyone. Several states have law suits filed against the company & from what I witnessed there personally I understand why..

I have a friend, who worked for Brookdale Living (an upscale retirement community) here in Birmingham, AL. Seemingly, she loved the residents, atmosphere, and overall culture at Brookdale. My friend spent a total of 5 years there before moving on to another retirement community.
I have been thinking of working here also. I really think I would enjoy it and it would be rewarding. I am a pharmacy tech .

Brookdale is a large company. It's best to work for them with their set of standardized rules, than some small group home which bends their rules to suit their favorite employees.
