Resume

I'm wondering I have a 1 page resume because the professional that I had make it said so the one she made up doesn't have room for the references. Got caught on it today the HR from the city ask me where my address is and references so I emailed an page for that. So anyway I think I'm going back to the 2 page the 2nd page can have address and references. What do you all think. Thanks God bless

Hello Richard, Recently I have been talking to a career adviser. I was told not to make the resume too long. I also only give references when asked, not with resume. Good luck to you on your future goals. What type of work are you doing?

I also have a one page resume that includes my address and contact info. However I make my resume specific to the job I am applying for with my education and job related skills from a previous job that is related. I do not include references or a bunch of rhetoric for self importance.

Richard O. You need to get your story straight , you should go places like Unemployment office they can help you to create a custom resume that can get you a job, always be prepared when applying for any job so you don't look out of place, remember to be assertive, that tells the employer you are serious but let them do all the talking, I hope this, might help

1 page resume is all it should be, if it's not they will assume that you have no professional background. It both my undergrad and MBA programs, they gave us a 3 hour course in resume building. 1 page was always a must.

References should always be separated from resume anyways. Stick with one page resume and a separate page for references up to three professional and three personal to give HR a good list of references for higher chances of getting an interview. Best of luck to you!

In my professional opinion about the addresses and phone numbers on a resume you're going to feel that information out anyways on the application in the employer is interested in you that is just one way to Dazzle them with your personality and your skill-set have confidence and what you do when you speak when you talk and when you write make do overcome and adapt every situation that way you will not have a stumbling block in The Warfield on top of that I've gained a lot of friends within the work field and their personal information being managers owners and that their personal information I wouldn't want to give out to anybody that was undesirable but talking to them about me
