I lost my job of 17 years in social work. last year (The job was in Kentucky) Now I can't pass DCS background checks in Indiana which are part of most jobs in social work. These laws need to change. My felony ( happened in Florida and cannot be expunged).... is 30 years old! Help.

It may can't be expunged but see about having it sealed.

I work for the state of Indiana in the re-entry field. If you go to the workone in Madison, or whichever one is in you county, ask for the HIRE coordinator. They specialize in helping clients with indiscretions on their record. GOOD LUCK!
