With your bachelor's in IT and A+ certification, you have a solid foundation for a help desk job. Consider pursuing additional certifications like Network+, Security+, or ITIL to enhance your qualifications further. Also, gaining practical experience through internships or entry-level IT positions can be valuable. Don't forget to regularly check Jobcase, along with other job search providers, for help desk job opportunities in your area. Good luck!

You have the certification for HelpDesk, and with a Bachelor's, that helps tremendously. The big thing with HelpDesk is customer service skills. Helpdesk used to be lacking in this department....a lot. It's gotten better, but IT tech forgets that end-users think we are Harry Porter or Neo and can just conjure the weird request out of the air at the drop of a dime. You have to be able to explain to them in terms they can understand what's doable and what's not. And to be honest, some customer service reps can't do that, and that's their main job. Patience and a keen ear are what's needed along with knowledge. Good luck in your search. 🍀
