I'm at a point in my life where I am just not happy, and I just resigned. It was my so called "dream job" but turned out to be not that at all. So I have 15 years of kitchen experience, from a dinning room aide all the way up to managing my own kitchen at a daycare. So now that my " Dream Job/Running my own Kitchen" didn't pan out, I am at a loss! I need a job in my area, Ida Grove, IA if possible that would be managing a kitchen again or cooking again. I do have a degree in Computer Science, but it is outdated and I would have to be trained on everything again. I also have customer service skills from a few other jobs I have worked at. If anyone on here can help me out...that would be great!!! I need a job fast, so we don't become homeless cuz I can't pay my bills. I need something asap and preferably with benefits!
Hi Jen. Just wanted to comment on your post, because I just resigned from my job as well. I thought I was crazy, but I feel as if a load has been lifted off my shoulders and I going to continue to look for something where I can find value. Keep the faith I hope your search brings you great success.

Hi Jen I can really relate to you. I'm currently looking for work I have 4kids and a boyfriend of 18yrs. We are at our low even with him having a job working under the table because he can't seem to get a job because of his record. But the people he work for is not doing or helping at all really. I get assistance from welfare but I would rather have a job because the shit you have to do I'd rather have a job. I have about 20 yes in retail and I though it was my dream jobbut omg no. I went to school for medical Billing an coding. But with no experience I'm stuck. So I'm trying to go other routes in the medical field. We are homeless living in the hotel sometimes. But I know and pray things will get better for the both if u . Our day is coming I will keep you in my prayers
