licensed pharmacy technician
I went back to school last year for pharmacy technician. My schooling was fully completed November of 2017. I have been applying for pharmacy technician positions but always get an email with saying not enough experience and they have other candidates with more experience. I have not given up on this career and get it will take time but time and time again getting the denial emails does get discouraging but I keep pushing on and apply for other jobs until my technician position comes through.

You got it Angela!! Keep on pushing for a job. It can't hurt to reach out to former professors/classmates and ask their experience with the job hunt. Maybe they know of an open position you would be perfect for, or can point you in the right direction on getting some real world experience on your resume.
It sounds like you have the perfect job searching attitude, so I'm sure you will find something soon!
Angela, Congratulations on completing your schooling for Pharmacy Technician. However, that does not mean you are licensed. There is a move to have PTs licensed, but at this point, only Pharmacists are licensed. If your school told you this, they were untruthful. What you need is CERTIFICATION. This is a national recognition of PTs. The PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) will certify you after passing a test. Then you can add CPhT to your resume. I know because I did the same thing as you did, Once I was a CPhT, I got a job at a hospital pharmacy and made a decent salary.
Good luck, Gayle
