In need of a job
Hello community friends. I got my five year service award just two weeks after the announcement that my job is going to be eliminated. I have experience in managing, payroll, AP/AR. I’d like to stay in the Arkadelphia area. Could you kindly keep your eyes and ears open for any possibility.
Have you thought about going through a temp agency? I don't know what they're like in your area but in my area of most of them now aren't really temp but temp to hire. So they may try you out first but if you're good and you like each other then there's a good chance you could be hired on permanently. The drawback is there's no benefits while you're in that trial. But that's not unlike a lot of jobs anyway with where you aren't eligible for benefits until your probationary period is up which is usually about 3 months. Good luck!
