I opened that store,I was a meatcutter for costco,for 10 1/2 years,you need to walk right in the office by the time clock like you own the place and meet the store manager face to face,tell them your name and you have current application, on file,then seek out all dept.managers face to face dropping your name have it written on a piece of paper,hand to them,then,visit them every two to three days,telling them your ready to work,then again,again,and even again,meet store manager again,,,,and then again,,, bug the hell out of them ,till they hire you,if you feel too comfortable, then you aren't, bothering them enough,no phone calls,face to face,,,,remember the store manager has final say who is hired,and who is not,costco payed me so much money including the bonuses every six months,I had too many girlfriends,kept partying every night,finally was late too many times too work,termination for me,worst thing in my life losing,that job,I'm on my way back in to Costco as we speak bothering them starting tomorrow, meeting managers,every other day I will bug the hell out of them,I was made full time back in the day in my first 90,days,no one wanted too be the cleanup guy in the meat dept,I fell into fulltime,so positions that are hard and unlike is the best way to get what you want,they only have one,or two clean up guys,,,,but they have several cashiers,food court, helpers,etc on the front end,,,,$19.20hr,,,,I was getting payed in 2002,handed,, $3500 bonuses every 6 mo.....now meatcutterspend today $27hr. $7500, every six months for the seasoned employee with yrs.under them
