I can not understand why with 16 years of human resources experience I can not land a job. I tried applying for part time clerical, clerk typist jobs even for clerical in our school district and no response. This coming August will be 3yrs of being unemployed my job was eliminated and the company eventually was taken over. This is depressing and scary I moved from Newjersey to florida and I am having the same luck. I only want an opportunity somewhere. I have no college degree I only have work experience. The pay in florida is not great....but I am willing to build from the ground up. I am 52 years but I dont look the age but they will never know that because they dont even call for an interview I applied for over 10 position in the school. No response I cant figure it out.
