Cashier at Mc Donalds

My daughter gets real sick sometimes so I need a job where I can pick my own hours and be there for her. I can’t leave her with daycare because they can’t take care of her right. I am by myself and have no family near me out here in Denver. It gets real hard. I don’t want to drive a car for uber or lyft. What else is there?? I have heard people talk about gig jobs in other forums. What are those? Please help us. I feel so alone.

There are agency here in Colorado that you can go to were you can pick the days you want to work. They agency has worked for me, when I had to care for my mother who had cancer.

Just be very careful....I know there are a few legit work at home opportunities but its a VERY few. Unless youre a killer sales person who is willing to cram your products down every friends throat, stay away from any mult level marketing scheme. You can make that your first question to those who contact you about working from home. Ask " is this multi level marketing?". If it is, RUN the other way. Most are scams and will cost you money before you're done.
And above all else remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it isn't true. The idea of working without leaving the kids is not nearly as appealing as it sounds. Young children can be demanding, particularly when ill. Trying to keep a fussy child quite while sounding professional on the phone and solving a customers' problem isnt easy. When my kids were young I solved the problem by opening a small business and taking the kids to work with me. Its like doing two jobs at once, exhausting but I managed to avoid leaving them with a stranger until they went to pre school at 4 years old. At that time I could put a sign on the door that I was closed for 15 min while I ran and picked them up from preschool and later, school. If I were you though and relocating to a place where you'd have some help from family and friends is possible, I would seriously consider that. Being a single mom is tough, without support its even tougher and when a special needs child is involved it really does take a village.

Try Instacart and Shipt if you have a vehicle you are self employed. You shop and deliver groceries you need a android phone. Keep track of your mileage, gas and car repairs you file that when you do taxes.
