Hi Janice, I am so sorry for your loss. I can totally understand your need to keep busy. However, I must caution you...if you are filing a disability claim or in your case filing an appeal to a claim, going back to work can impact your case. As a whole when filing a disability claim it is very rare for a person to be approved the first time around. It seems that standard procedure is to automatically issue denials. Basically, they make you work for your disability benefits. Also, it can take upwards of 2 years for a claim to be finalized (reviewing medical records, requiring more medical records, requiring doctor visits, etc.). I'm not saying this to discourage you, you need to know what you can look forward to as your appeal progresses. Being that this process is time consuming and being that getting a job can impact your case, you may want to think about other options (getting a hobby, volunteering) rather than getting a job, unless the need to go back to work is due to pressing financial need. Lastly, If you have representation for your disability claim consult with them before you begin applying for any jobs. Good Luck and Be Well!

Sorry for your loss and your comment situation. Mat I ash have you been I'll for awhile or was it recent ? It is hard to get disability unless you have a good doctor and a long medical history (paperwork). Continued strength and patience. You'll get there.
