Healthcare Professionals Job Seeker Concerns
Greetings,
I am fairly new to this platform, but not new to the world of job searching. I am an independent healthcare recruiter who is interested in learning more about the concerns that nursing job seekers have been experiencing. Would love to be a resource for those of you who are actively seeking career opportunities in the healthcare field. What has been the biggest challenge in seeking a nursing position?
Awesome question Ryan Parks !! Your a Recruiter within the Healthcare industry? Well guess what, we have a large sub-community of job seekers who are struggling to enter this industry. The biggest concern I've noticed is among recent 2 and 4 year college and Medical Certification programs.
How can they land their first career job opportunity when all the medial employers require 2+ years of practical work experience? Employers don't even want to take internship experience into consideration. For an industry that claims to have the highest demand for future job applicants and professional the current employment community within the healthcare industry seems to be sending mixed messages!
