Bigotry, Racism, Discrimination
Did you know that discrimination or slandering an ethnic group is not against the law in the state of WA. I know simply because I experienced something similar and most of attorneys I have talked to stated the same. Sad.

Your employer may not discriminate against you based on race, color, national origin, disability, religion, sex, marital status, age and (in some cities) sexual orientation. A job rule or policy that has the effect of disproportionately excluding one of these groups is illegal in the state of WA if it is not necessary to the job. Washington's law against discrimination protects both independent contractors and employees.
The reason lawyers may show disinterest in listening to you is that you don't have the preponderance of evidence to substantiate your claim. PROVING the act of discrimination is very difficult. Without a "smoking gun" that puts such claims in an irrefutable light, it's not worth the lawyer's time or your money to pursue the case.
There is a difference between a company violating the law and you feeling that they did. This is not to say they didn't blatantly discriminate, it is simply saying that proving it takes more than just your word.
I am sorry that you have experienced this. Hopefully you are able to find a reputable employer who appreciates you as a person and the skills and experience that you can bring to their table.
