Age discrimination trying to get hired

I have many years of experience in the automotive service field. Now that I'm in my 60"s I find it hard to get a job in the field since I relocated. Employers aren't suppose to ask your age, but they have ways around it. I tell you it's very disheartening. I would like to be a consultant, but I need steady income first.

Or the dates of a qualifying exam for licensure, or transcripts, or work experiences that had to take decades to acquire... This site seems to suggest we have some new options?

I find they get around asking your age by asking what year did you graduate from high school

I was having the same problem. I am 55, with extensive experience, education and skills. I was becoming depressed. Bruce Nelson reached out to me from Melaleuca, showed me a 30 minute video and I was hooked. If you have a half hour to spare I will show you how I am working from home, as my own boss, earning residual income. Gail gaco2580@gmail.com

Have you thought about doing the consulting while you try to find a steady job? Even some income is better than none.
