I ALWAYS say "Thank you for your service." Any jobcasers who are young enough: join one of the armed forces. You will gain experience and camaraderie for your lifetime. Yes, I am going to BBQ's and hitting the beach (I live on the coast) but also on Monday morning, my church is having a special Memorial Day service. Give thanks to God for those who protect us. My father was Army and Air Force (after which he went into business&finance) my husband was a Marine (and then real estate) my brother was Navy (where he learned nuclear engineering and in private life, headed up power plants for BIG bucks.) You cannot get a better free education that will benefit you always.
