What do you think
What can I expect I've never been to a job fair I mean 40 year old man with no high school diploma but very responsible enthusiastic and energetic I ready to work do I have a chance at bagging one of these good jobs let me know thanks

Remember to smile and be enthusiastic and translate some of that energy you have xD if you're bilingual in any other languages use that as a skill. Lots of employers these day value multiple verse employees. Good luck!

The most important things to accomplish at a job fair:
- make sure that you can learn about the employers & jobs that seem helpful to you
- try to talk to at least 3 employers (from companies that you like, or just for the practice) to get familiar with a conversation that is 50/50 - 50% about you asking questions about the employer or available jobs, and 50% about you letting the employer know why they could trust you to be a helpful, reliable employee. Practice makes perfect, so use the job fair for whatever you need- seeking positions or just getting comfortable !

Definitely stop by and see what opportunities speak to you!! Don't let anything stop you : ) We look forward to seeing you there Fernando Cervantes

Bring many copies of your resume and take initiative when you approach the booth
YES! Its a tight labor market and you have a lot to offer. Employers are starting to understand there are more dimensions to success than education (though I do recommend continuing your education when you get the time). They like the term 'soft skills' but the point is if you show up and explain you are motivated, where you have helped employers succeed in their goals in the past, and map why and how if they hire you that they will succeed with you - then you'll do great. Im sure you are awesome Fernando - be confident and help them understand that!
