How God gave me the Victory through the Conflict and after the Conflict.

I did a lot of praying, more praying, and ask God to keep me in His perfect peace. I also asked HIM to go before me and make my path straight. Yes, I had some conflicts with the Supervisor and Managers,I listened, gave my side of the story and trusted God. I didn't argue with them, or complain to other people about them, but I did say that vengeance belongs to God. When things didn't turn out the way I thought they should have went on my behalf,I got a little upset, cried a little and gave it over to the Lord and by HIS grace I forgave them, and didn't tear them down, just simply said when I was asked, that I was blessed to be on that job and grateful to the Lord for the opportunity.

It takes the same energy to speak well or to speak evil ,God has given me revelation to speak well and give HIM all the hurt feelings and emotions for His peace and love. I talk to God about everything, and I do mean everything because ONLY He can truly bring restoration, healing, and peace to one's heart and soul,well-being,and life. ONLY He can give true favour through people and with people.

Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

Psalm 34:13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Psalm 5:12 (KJV) For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield

Psalm 35:27 (KJV) Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

John 14:27 (KJV) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ

Well overall I have enjoyed most of my working life. I have been told by my daughter that I am too old for certain jobs. I have always tried to support my bosses and have been one myself several times. I read alot about bosses making decisions based on money. That is part of owning or managing a company. Bringing in the money. I just don't like when it effect the very people who help make it great, the employees. Good luck Kimber

I am a 49 year old GD, with experience on fabric printing and standard printing procedures as well as designing for the web from PC or MAC platforms, I know how to work on InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, VCarve, SketchUp, SmartCarve4, Magento program, Designer program, also I know a bit of FinalCut Pro and Soundtrack Pro and the your standard Word, Excel and power point programs. On my last job I had the opportunity to learn and handle a dual laser cutter machine and a CNC cutting machine that I used on the daily basis. And that is were I have a major question mark on my head, I was the only designer capable of handle two different cutting machines, design for the company, update the web site and maintain the Spanish site…and I was the one who got terminated?

Since they terminated me there is no one day that I don't received a text asking me how to do X or Y job on the laser cutter machine, asking me for the specs to do a job or how come the laser it is not cutting properly, and I know it is because they don't know how to handle the machine, a lot of it is common sense, that's all. I don't like to make the impression that I am all that but in any given time if any of the other two designers had to take a vacation time I was able to do their job with no problem at all.

My boss is - and I mean this, I'm not making stuff up - quite literally insane. I've been fired from this job three times now. Two of those three, she pretended it didn't happen and came back at me, all aglow, with how she couldn't possibly run the business without me (once I'd been gone about 5 days); how she wanted to give me a raise but couldn't right now; how - literally, this last time! - she wanted to "leave the business to me as I'm running it better than she could." (True, but, she fired me. Again.)

She fired me this last time because I paid too much attention to detail and "wanted to make the business bigger than it was". ...Yeah.

Personally..? I think she's threatened - that's the feedback I've gotten from friends when I soundboard.. ("Help. Am I crazy? Or is SHE?") ..and I tend to agree; most likely I am threatening. I don't at all want to own this business- at all. It's simply a stopgap on my resume between jobs that pertain to my career path, one I chose to jump in on due to the "friend of a friend" way I found out about the vacancy and the fact that I had been out of the workforce for almost two years due to my mom getting very sick and then dying about a year ago.

It's time to move on... that's why I'm looking for work! And that's my story!

If this shows up with my name, it'll be coming down shortly!

OK. This is my story. I have 33 years experience as an insurance claims adjuster, including Flood, inside and outside, personal and commercial lines, auto, homeowners, inland marine, large loss, all within those 33 years, yet I cannot find a job even on a temporary basis. I even went to the East coast 3 times last year (2016). I worked for a few days, but even though I arrived on time, was never late and appropriately licensed in the states I was working, I was let go after a few days. True, I did make some money but there were others who has much less experience but who were allowed to stay. I am back in TX, my home state. I am trying to find a job in Texas now. As soon as my floor is laid, I will try again. I feel that the problem is primarily my age. That is supposed to be against the law. It is not my education. I have 3 degrees, two of them in Insurance. I feel that no one values experience anymore, only youth. I am a nice person looking for a job I do well. I have been to many interviews with no success. Retirement is for those people who have thousands of dollars. Claims are in my blood.

Concierge at Bluegreen Vacations

I have gotten some great tips from this site. At first I was not getting any calls or reviews on my resume. Then I changed it around using several actions verbs as recommended. Suddenly several companies were reviewing my resume. I got 2 telephone interviews this am, which I passed on as they were not the right fit for what I wanted. Then I had another phone interview, he asked me to come in. Interview went well. He asked if I had any questions and I asked him where he saw the company in 5 years. He was floored, never asked that before. He was impressed and asked me for 2nd interview with his Regional Manager. This site does give advisev if you listen and apply the advise. Good Luck!

Hall County Board Of Education at Substitute

I was a teacher at the same school for 27 years. All of my evaluations were positive. I happened to post a comment about Michelle Obama on Facebook. My principal (who is the devil/bitch) called me at home on my last day of Fall Break, and told me that I better remove the post off of FB. So, I did. The next thing I knew, I got an email from her telling me not to show up at school on Monday. I was to meet her and HR at the county office on Monday morning. My choices were to be fired over the post or resign. I chose neither. I chose to retire early. This has been a very painful experience for me. I miss my students' so much. It is not fair that I was forced to retire over a personal comment. It just goes to show you that many bosses are assholes like mine was!
