Unjustly terminated
Worked at Pittsburgh Mills Mall as account manager and was terminated today for absolutely no reason. I was told my company was changing directions. I worked running housekeeping. Everyone says the mall looks good for cleaning. Mall manager has unreal expectations for what is being paid for. Work was always done. Two regional managers for my company said mall looks good.
I think the lack of communication or forewarning was certainly unfair. God is Awesome and when one door closes another door opens. I pray for a new and more appreciative job for you.

James, sometimes things just don't make sense. It doesn't sound like you did anything wrong, but what does changing directions mean? All you can do is learn from this, and move on. Good Luck...
People never appreciate how much cleaning and maintenance teams do until they're gone. It's one of those things people don't even think about until they can see grime and trash everywhere. I'm sure you can give it just a few weeks until they'll be recognizing their mistake. Take the positive feedback with you to a new position and keep your head high. If you know you did your utmost you should be proud of yourself for the quality of your work.
If in need of a job, go through a temp agency until you become permanently employed somewhere.
