I have worked for 2 law firms. Both were disbanded several years ago. How can I prove my worth to a new company without access to recommendations from closed businesses? Thank you for your kindness. peace elaine

you may mention them and they may know of them or you can see if any of the lawyers have a private practice, or work for someone else. You may get your references that way.

File Scanning Clerk at Revenue Cycle Billing

Good day ma'am. And I myself would focus on your given duties and great performance in regards to the previous company. It seems to me if you reflect a positive and secure attitude during the interview; that will bee what the interviewer(s) focus on. I say this because I myself had a similar situation a few decades ago. I did a great job for a company that was consolidated with another one. I lost contact with my friends / associates of the company. So I simply described my duties and how what I accomplished at that company would greatly benefit me in regards to employment at / for the given company I was at the time applying for, Within two days - I got the job offer...and worked for the given company for about 14 years...Being the good person whom I am sure that you are; your confidence / consideration / knowledge may take the place of some of the references....Good luck to you...

Social media have to reach out to the people you work with before on Facebook Twitter I like it in anything like that that you can get hold of them people through and ask if they would give you a good recommendation and for a good contact for them to give employers you are applying to

Can you access any of your ex-clients? Seek them out and ask if they can write a letter of recommendation and the type of work you had done for them. Ten should suffice. I wish you well in your endeavors....

Keep the employment record. References.... Laywers are in bussiness unless suspended...to practice law. Find your old lawyers...can do it thru American bar association And where they practice now. Reach oyt to them and ask them to be your reference. Would not mention about they disbandment. Makes you look....dirty Doctors have the same problem Use the same method. They can run into problems Within a medical practice Or lawyers practice. Shalom

Well it doesn't stop my application interviews. I still put those companies down. But I also use other companies that I have worked for in the field which I am applying.
