Scholarships for Detroit High School Students

In today's economic market every bit of education helps you stand out. Detroit is trying to give their high school graduates a step up. Going forward students who graduate from a Detroit High School and are residents will have a tuition-free path to an associate degree or technical certificate* at any one of five participating community colleges. Thank you thank you thank you! My daughter was fortunate enough participate in the Oakland Early College Program where she went to high school for 5 years instead of 4 and earned an associates degree upon graduation and other suburban areas have had this for awhile. Glad to see DPS adopting this practice. Though I live across 8 mile now I'm still a Detroiter and a product of the DPS system. Yes Detroit is home to some of the brightest and best!
