Question?

I've tried applying here I think twice now but I'm always turned away because I don't have a high-school diploma or GED. But I've worked at UPS and XPO Logistics, and that was never an issue? Idk, I'm just asking if that's still an issue because I got an email invitation for the open interviews. I'd love to go apply, but I'm scared I'll only be turned away again. I'm willing to work overtime and whichever shift is okay honestly.

Tina,

Unfortunately, not all companies accept employment without a HS diploma/GED, and this will be challenging for you the older you get. The hard reality is that you're going to need to obtain your GED so this isn't a problem in the future regardless of any company's education requirement or not. You cannot expect to taken seriously without completed basic education.

Good luck!

Just go get yoyr GED so this isn't an issue any longer. The longer you wait, the harder it will be. That us a bade level requirement. Nowadays you need some college or a bachelor's for many jobs so graduating high school is a definite requirements.

Hey Tina, I would suggest going to the hiring fair either today or tomorrow so you can talk to someone in person about that. Sometimes it's better to be able to talk to someone face to face! Good luck!
