I worked for 5 years at the Source Ministries, with Mr. & Mrs. Tom & Gaye King..I love them and the work we did there. When Mr. King took ill, the board of directors let him & Gaye go along with anyone who loved them and doing the work they did...Gaye was about to get a large government grant for housing for the homeless. The board did not want the responsibility of such a large sum of money.....Gaye & Tom came up with The Source's mission statement which is no longer followed What I did at The Source was: get clothes, food, helped serve a hot lunch, shelter, funds for utilities, rent, property taxes, taught anger management, went to court with people, took people to detox, picked them up when done, found programs for men & women who needed help. I also found people to adopt a family for Christmas...It was wonderful, I helped Vets get their benefits, I helped people get their SSI, food stamps, etc. I helped people with resume's, job interviews, proper attire for jobs. whatever people needed I prayed and then found a way to get it done...I miss the Source and working with The Kings and the other staff...
