I landed the job
I've been in Philadelphia since December and i had been looking for work. I go on a job interview but as i walk in the power goes out! I knew instantly to just keep going. So i sign in and ask where the stairwell is. I look at my paper it says the 12th floor. So i proceed to walk the flights of steps and i stop on the 5th floor because im tired. I open the door because i was about to give up. I look around and realize the elevators are still down so i just go back in the stairwell and proceed to walk up the other flight of steps. I figured what was the use in giving up when i need a job so i kept pushing. I finally make it up to the 12th floor and the receptionist isn't at her desk she had just stepped away. A lady went and found her and told her i was there for my interview and told her what i did. That became the talk of the office immediately. She notified the hiring manager to let her know i had arrived but she was on the 9th floor. So i had to walk down to that floor. When i got there she immediately told the floor what i did. They were all saying you're hired! I'm thinking okay i just wanted to get to my interview on time. Needless to say i interviewed great and landed the job. I start next month and im glad i kept going instead of giving up.

Recap! I've gotten through my 3 weeks of training and now im on week 1 of my 5 weeks training on the call center floor. The information and systems are not hard as long as i stay focused. Im glad i chose to keep going and not give up.

Congratulations/all thinking are possible thu.GOD. Sir.Stay on the battlefield.

Great story I couldn't stop reading it...Congrats

That's awesome!

First if all, Congratulations !!! That is an amazing story! Goes to show that if you want something bad enough you’ll go the extra step to get it! Kudos! Secondly, I’m from Philadelphia so do me a favor and eat a cheesesteak for me.

Yes

haha, what an amazing adventure Ramona Underwood . The key element I walked away from your story inn your inability to give up on yourself despite all the mental, emotional, and physical tiggers challenging you. Your perseverance is commendable. Congrats on your new job and best of Luck to You moving forward.
