How long after applying for a job online should I wait to call in person?
I have applied to 3 seperate Dollar General stores and have waited a week to hear from them, but still nothing. I did receive a text to call a number if still interested, but it was an information gathering call center. Where should I go from here? FYI, I am applying for Assistant Manager at all three and have ample managerial experience.
Linda I would say keep filling out and applying eventually Simone will call you. But have you thought about doing something else. There are a lot of company hiring. Go to your jobcase profile and change your search. You have the qualifications. That I'm sure other companyies would be interested. Other than dollar general. I'm sure you can get some assistance. Definitely give them a call. It's ok to call 1-2 days after just to double check the actually got it. But then 1 week later for sure to follow up and see if you're being considered.
Yeah i applied on line for a part time position 3 weeks ago and still haven't heard from anyone. Even called and talked to the assistant manager gave my name and phone number not once but twice and still haven't gotten a response.
