Licensed day care provider

I live in Maryland. I am College educated and i speak four languages and i have been running my daycare from my home for 16 years. I am getting married next year and was thinking of a career transition and i am very anxious about the new change and not sure if i wanted to work the 9 to 5 grind. I know i love helping people and i am a team play but not sure what is available out there. The negative stories that i hear of how difficult is it to find a job even for the ones that have a Masters Degree brings fear. Anyone can share any input?

Hi Susanna: Don't let the fear hold you back from achieving the job you really want! Yes, there's a lot of negative news out there, but personality and persistence still pay off in the job search. Whatever you're looking for, make sure you relentlessly pursue it. Apply, follow up on your applications, and let employers know why you're the BEST person for the job. Push past the fear - you can do it!
